“For a lot of years, I have had problems with procrastination, and also with being able to read and finish a book without losing interest and thinking that it will take me too long to finish. Since working with Umar, he has helped me uncover the underlying reasons behind these bad habits to then change how I view reading and how I can reduce procrastination which in turn has created more productivity in my days. For someone who has had issues finishing a book for close to 15 years, I have since finished reading 2 books inside 4 weeks with the help and guidance of Umar. What I liked about the process of working with Umar was how empathetic and friendly he was on the sessions. You aren’t just starting straight into everything at the start of the session, Umar creates a friendly feel to the session by showing an interest in how you have been and what you have been getting up to which also helped me feel more relaxed. Umar also has a wide range of techniques to cater for anyone’s needs so if you try something that doesn’t work, well then Umar will have another technique to try until you find one that works for you which I found really great.

The impact these sessions have had on my life has been huge. I feel confident when I pick up a book and read through the book with ease, without conflicting thoughts. I procrastinate a lot less and my productivity has increased massively, due to ensuring I get proper rest according to what I feel is necessary and using the various techniques throughout the day. I have also have been learning a new language which I was struggling to do previously (due to not being consistent) which I now do every single day. I am also a currency trader which as you can imagine with being much more productive with my time, my knowledge of the markets are increasing at a much faster rate and it has helped alter my mindset to align with how I need to think.

“I had insomnia for six years before seeing Umar. It was hard to go to bed on time, fall asleep and also get out of bed in the mornings. After working with Umar these issues got resolved. I can now sleep on time, fall asleep easily and get out of bed in the mornings hassle free.

Before working with Umar I was frustrated as I wouldn’t be able get to bed at the right time despite wanting to. When I eventually did get to sleep (well after midnight!) I wouldn’t be able to sleep for anything from twenty minutes to one hour later. This meant I ended up sleeping very late and waking up feeling worse due to my lack of sleep caused by a late bedtime. This meant I was late all the time and it was having a massive impact on my education.

I decided to go ahead and work with Umar because I was stuck in negative thinking patterns and needed to change all this. During the sessions Umar did various things to help including helping me make strategic changes to my diet, taught me about optimal sleep hygiene and ‘upgraded’ my overall mindset and awareness around the importance of healthy sleep and how to best practice it . Umar helped me uncover various limiting beliefs from childhood that were obstacles to having a healthier lifestyle and which helped improve my overall sleep quality for the better. In one session, Umar helped me change a limiting belief that removed my phone addiction habit I’d had on a regular basis before I slept. Umar also helped me design an effective pre sleep relaxation ritual that helps me fall asleep a lot easier than before on a regular basis now.

I had numerous aha moments during the sessions, especially through understanding where the causes of my limiting beliefs came from and better knowing how I could change my experience, as well as developing a deeper understanding of sleep science and the role nutrition plays in optimal sleep & overall health. He is a consummate professional and very friendly. He had a very relaxed and friendly approach when coaching me which made him very easy to talk to and enabled the sessions to flow quite naturally.

After working with Umar, I can now fall asleep on time, my overall physical health has improved and I also find it much easier to wake up in the morning to start my day. “As a New York City Police Officer, my work schedule involves night shifts working into the late morning hours. This left me exhausted, my brain was foggy, and I felt like a zombie. For the last 10 or so years, I have been a night owl. From working late nights as a bartender, to now consistently working a 7pm-7am shifts as a police officer in New York City and going straight to my "side hustle" - I've had my fair share of sleepless nights (and days). I considered myself a professional napper for the longest time - until I started struggling with that. Even when I had the occasional "day off" and was able to get a "normal" night's sleep (which for me typically was 2-4 hours) I found myself tossing and turning, and just as I started to slip away, the alarm would start going off. The simplicity and practicality of the strategies we put into place blew me away within the first day of trying them. Since then, I've been using these strategies religiously and haven't looked back. With a few extra tweaks from Umar on follow up calls, I've been able to sleep, nap and wake up feeling more refreshed than I have in the last 10 years despite my hectic schedule.

Had it not been for Umar and his help, I would still be struggling to optimize my sleep schedule and would be running myself into an early grave.
