‘As a recent French and Spanish graduate from the University of Leeds, I have always made it a priority to maintain my language skills on a daily basis and maintain my passion for languages. However, amidst the Corona virus pandemic and being off work for an extended period of time, I found myself losing motivation and falling out of love with my daily habit of foreign language learning, fearing that I was going to slowly lose everything I had learned during my time at university.

However, after just a few sessions, Umar helped me to develop a clear schedule to follow which helped me to rekindle my love with my old habit and since then I have rarely missed a day of learning my languages.

Before having the sessions with Umar, I felt like I was a lost cause. Being forced off work put me in a state of unproductivity, and I thought the only way I would pick up my old habit was if I started working again which, which looked unlikely for the foreseeable future and by that point, I made have completely lost my interest all together. Umar is an absolute expert at his craft and it immediately shows once you begin the sessions with him. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience and is able to communicate various ideas in a manner that is very easy to understand, as well as being an excellent listener. He is very down to earth, and each session is as relaxed as the previous one. I always felt comfortable and reassured talking about private issues and Umar dealt with this sensitive information in a professional way and positively utilised this information to help construct a solid solution to the problem. Thanks to his fantastic work, I was able to identify the root cause of my problem and subsequently change my thought process so that the problem no longer became a hindrance to my daily life, but rather an important and fulfilling habit as part of a concise schedule that we formulated together.

Before meeting Umar, this problem was severe. I’d have a lack of motivation and was uninterested in completing my university work. When Umar told me about the services he provided I was quite intrigued and thought all help is good help when working on yourself.

“I came to see Umar for help with motivation working out and exercising. After working with him I no longer have this issue. Before seeing him, I would feel frustrated when I tried to solve the problem by myself. A lot of frustration. There was a lot of back & forth in my head. Physically saying to myself it’s something I should be doing but never actually getting round to doing it. All that frustration just made me say, so you know what? Let’s just leave it. It doesn’t matter.

Beforehand, I had read up on his past clients' experiences working with him and they said it was in-depth and worked out. In all honesty, I was a little bit concerned that maybe it wouldn’t work for me and then I’d clam up and quit the process. Maybe I’d get cold feet so that was one thing I was just concerned about before we even started.

What I liked about it was his approach. At no point did I hear him say ‘you know what, this sounds serious’. It was almost like just a chat, very laid back and so much so at times I forgot that it was going to be like that. And even before I started it I looked at his website testimonials again and I could tell that this guy knows what he’s doing so it’s going to be professional, it’s not going to be like one of those scams or just selling you things that don’t work.

I realized Umar was starting to solve my problem in the latter part of the 1st session where after doing some work and linking certain ideas and experiences in my head, I really started to get in touch with my emotions and my own unconscious. I can’t remember exactly at which point it happened but that's when I realized, you know what? This is actually working I can’t even argue with how this is happening, this is actually working!

The most interesting and beneficial thing about it was how introspective it was. It's very rare that these days, because of the speed of life really, you don’t get the time to pause and reflect and say you know what, what have I done, how do I feel, what does this lead to, and what kind of things are linked to this in my head? So, it was quite good to have that experience as well as the main issue of working on my motivation problem. There were little links I was started to make in my head that were really valuable and productive towards solving my problem.

Nowadays, working out is something that I enjoy. I can actually say I look forward to it and I actually feel the difference now when I don’t work out whereas before if I didn’t work out I’d be like ‘oh I didn’t work out and I’d focus on that’. Now, I can detect it in my body when I haven’t worked out and I’ve got to a stage where I’m not only enjoying it but I can actually see the results gradually improving my health.

The impact on my life has been having much more energy and I feel healthier. I’m one of those people who suffer from a lot of allergies. My nose, a lot of the time, is congested due to reactions to different things, usually hay fever, but it's been good because of my new habit of working out obviously my airways are clearer so I feel healthier. I’m breathing better, less shallow, and just in general I feel more focused. I have a focused mindset just as when I’m exercising. I just feel much more positive and ambitious.

I would definitely recommend Umar. Definitely. For anyone who hasn’t worked with him, it is something that they should do. He is definitely a quality guy who knows exactly what he’s doing. It will be deep, there will be some introspection for sure but what you’ll learn will definitely change whatever you want to change and you can apply those skills to whatever you want to do.
